After much speculation from the fans, Jameson East Africa have finally revealed that American rapper and actor, Clifford Joseph Harris Jr, known professionally as T.I and T.I.P will grace the Jameson stage as the main act in this year’s concert. This is after they confirmed the attendance of T. I on a post that they shared on their social handles.
The annual famed hip hop concert is officially set to take place on 7th December at the Uhuru Gardens, Langata Road. Fans have since taken to Twitter and Instagram to share the thoughts on this, with some unable to hide their excitement whereas some have been quick to raise their criticism claiming that once again Jameson has stooped low.
Besides rapper T. I, Jameson have only confirmed Kenyan rapper Khaligraph Jones as the other act. However, unconfirmed sources also mention singer and songwriter Karun and rising star Bey T as the other performers that night
T.I is a hip hop legend with over ten studio albums and is also known as one of the artists who popularized the hip-hop subgenre, trap music, along with Gucci Mane. He has also produced highly successful singles such as live your life and whatever you like which went on to top the Billboard charts.
Tickets to the event are currently on sale at www.ticketsasa.com with gallery tickets going for Ksh. 3500 and VIP tickets Ksh. 8000. This will indeed be a trap weekend!
