JKUAT students are not happy after a fourth-year student at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology ma was badly clobbered by club-wielding security officers of the Juja Police Station then arrested during demonstrations that rocked the school for the better part of 11th Monday 2019.

The student now identified as Allan Omondi is seen in an amateur video clip seen by Jujamaica that has now gone viral on social media platforms being beaten by more than six policemen. The heavily armed policemen take turns in kicking his dreadlocked head with their heavy boots. In the video, it seems as though Allan’s foot is bandaged. He is later on led away by the policemen.

The clip has elicited anger and rage among netizens. The video was shared by Linus KaiKai the Director of Strategy and Innovation at Citizen TV and blogger Xtian Ndela and other social media users on their Twitter handles.

Blogger Xtian Ndela visited Juja Police Station (where Allan Omondi was still being held at the time of going to press) but; was whisked away. He was denied access to Allan who had not been given any medical attention since the time of the arrest. This is according to a series of tweets shared on the bloggers Twitter handle.
