It’s parte after parte yet again with the 28th edition of Koroga Festival just around the corner. The prestigious event which is sponsored by Capital Fm occurs bimonthly and at its core is the celebration of African music, food and culture.

To wrap up 2019 in style, the organizers have gone out of their way to put together an ultimate event experience. Going down on the 30th of November and 1st December at the Bomas of Kenya, the two day action-packed event features an artist line-up like no other.

Koroga Festival Day 1

On day 1, it’s all about great music and entertainment from the local musicians and DJs. The upcoming Kenyan gengetone stars Boondocks gang and Rico gang are set to thrill their fans with sensational singer Nviiri the Storyteller joining them on stage as well. To put the icing on the cake, Koroga have an amazing DJ line-up with only top names in the industry;Dj Joe Mfalme, Dj Joe Kisila, Dj Roudge and DJ Dii will all be on set the entire afternoon.

Day 2

Day 2, which is better termed an all Rhumba affair, will see the performances from Rhumba legend Kanda Bongoman of the popular “Kwasa Kwasa” dance move as well as the queen of Congolese and African Rhumba, M’bilia Bel. The two will be joined by Ohangla fusion star, Emma Jalamo, and Steve Kay from Kenya.
