In a memo dated 9th November 2019 addressed to the entire student’s body from the Jomo Kenyatta University Students Association Executive Council, students have been urged to come out and in the strongest terms, possible condemn the injustices meted on their colleagues.
This comes in the wake of a spate of insecurity incidences that have been witnessed for the better part of 2019 against students around the school the latest being of one Biwott Denis Kipchirchir who was stabbed severally by armed thugs
The internal memo claims two students have been stabbed and several others mugged by thugs.
In the memo whose authenticity is yet to be verified since it has no signatures, JKUSA Executive Council has aired out its frustrations on the meetings with the appropriate security stakeholders that bore no fruits and have now vowed to changed tactics.
