Jamaican reggae sensation Mikalya Simpson popularly known as Koffee is set to headline this year’s Blankets and Wine dubbed Kenyan Summer Season on December 22.
Koffee garnered her popularity from ‘Toast’ that received major acceptance from fans around the globe and has been on the rise ever since. She has been receiving love, support and guidance from her fans and her forerunners in the conscious reggae music industry like Chronixx , Protoje and Sizzla Kalonje for keeping conscious reggae music ‘Burning’ like a song she wrote in an era where message-based music is not really appreciated by the youth.
The 20-year-old talented songstress also famed for her chart-topping singles ‘Burning’ and ‘Rapture’ will be making her maiden performance in Kenya and Africa at large alongside Kenya’s very own Sol Generation Music group of the ‘Extravaganza’ hit and South Africa’s Sun El Musician producer of ‘Akanamali’ and ‘Sonini’ hits.
The organisers of Blankets and Wines have confirmed the attendance of Koffee in a post that they shared in their socials and her fans are more than excited.
