Buju Banton is set to perform in the coastal city on December 31. Reports show that this could be part of his ‘Long Walk to Freedom Tour’ that has seen him perform around the world for the better part of 2019 filling up the National Stadium with 35,000 fans in Kingston Jamaica on March 16, 2019. The concert marked his first-ever concert after his release from prison in the USA where he had been incarcerated for 10 years.

The conscious reggae artist famed for hits like “Hills and Valleys” and “Wanna Be Loved” will be making his first African stop of the tour in Kenya. Scanty details of the show have been released but Kenyan reggae fans are more than elated for the show and will be treated to more than 20 years of Buju’s peerless reggae discography live. Revellers from Nairobi are expected to throng the coastal city for the show.
