The 2020 super rugby season is finally here! The southern hemisphere rugby competition starts on January 31 with the Blues taking on the Chiefs at Eden Park for the first game of the season.
The game will be followed by a clash between two Australian sides Brumbies and Reds at the GIO Stadium before an all South African clash later in the evening between Sharks and Bulls at the Kings Park Stadium in Durban to end the opening day.
Day two of match-week one begins with an early morning kick-off when Australian side the Rebels travel to Tokyo to face Sunwolves at Chichibunomiya Rugby Stadium. The reigning champions the Crusaders host the Waratahs at Orangetheory Stadium in Christchurch for what is expected to be a very tight game. New Zealand side the hurricanes will then be hosted at Newlands Stadium in Cape Town by the Stormers for a very interesting match.
The final game for match-week one will be played very early on Sunday morning when two times finalists the Lions for a game against last year’s finalists the Jaguares at the Estadio José Amalfitani in Buenos Aires.

Even though super rugby lost some big names like world cup winners Eben Etzebeth and Handre Pollard who moved to France, former all blacks captain Kieran Read who moved to Japan and many others, we expect to be amazed by new signings like blues winger Emoni Narawa amaze us.
